Project Overview
- The project was designed on a 1,620 sq. ft. (180 var) rectangular plot within a 100-unit housing society.
- The brief was to create a modern 4BHK residence that is Vaastu-compliant, sustainable, and multifunctional.
- The 2,000 sq. ft. built-up area includes a living room, entertainment zone, garden with front yard, and a backyard for services.
- Ground floor layout: living room, kitchen overlooking the garden, one bedroom, and essential services.
- To enhance openness, only one side shares a common wall, with three sides planned with margins for light and ventilation.
- A terrace space serves as an informal gathering area for morning tea and evening sit-outs.
- The elevation combines exposed brickwork, stucco plaster, and corten steel, creating a modern yet warm architectural identity.
- Interiors emphasize layered multifunctional spaces and use salvaged materials from a local ship-breaking yard, adding sustainability and character.
